This is a dichotic program formed with Allen Bryce Young, who recently won the Pergolaski-Yankee scholarship and will be studying organ performance at Eastman this coming fall, and Steven Flick, an organist in Hillsadale, MI. Throwing the audience back and forth between two extreme walls (figuratively speaking, of course), we'll be playing Baroque repertoire alongside music by living composers. There will be Bach, and there will also be jamming foam underneath the organ key desks. There will be intricate, artful counterpoint, and there will also be half-pulled stops and microtonal material. Performed on a German Baroque style Noack organ, this should be a concert that has something everyone can enjoy.
